ISAH 2019 Young Investigator Awards

 

The International Conference on SubArachnoid Hemorrhage (ISAH 2019) encourages young investigators in the field of subarachnoid hemorrhage and unruptured intracranial aneurysms to submit abstracts for the conference. To support the efforts and careers of these young investigators, there will be several Young Investigator Awards.   

 

Criteria

The applicant must meet the following criteria to be considered for an award:

  • His/her abstract needs to be accepted for oral or poster presentation at ISAH 2019.
  • The applicant must be 40 years or younger.
  • The applicant must be in training as an undergraduate or pre-doctoral student. For physicians, specialty training (residency) has to be completed within the last 3 years.
  • The applicant is the presenting author of the abstract.
  • All abstracts submitted by an applicant are eligible for an award, however it is not possible to receive more than 1 award per applicant.
  • There are no citizenship requirements.

 
Evaluation

All abstracts submitted will be evaluated for scientific merit by the scientific committee. The best abstracts will be eligible for an award, depending on the above mentioned criteria.

 

Types of awards

  • Best Oral Presentation (1st, 2nd)
  • Best Poster (1st, 2nd)
  • The Next Big Idea (1st, 2nd)

 

Announcement

Awards will be announced during the closing ceremony.
